At Miles College, I firmly believed that hands-on experience was essential for engaging students in news writing and production. Textbooks lay the groundwork, but it's the practical application that drives true understanding. By utilizing tools like Rundown Creator, my students successfully created news rundowns and played a pivotal role in relaunching the MCTV newscasts.  Even during the challenges of the Covid-19, we demonstrated our resilience by producing a shortened newscast called "Bear Bites," showcasing our adaptability and creativity in any circumstance.

During the challenging times the pandemic, our students were inspired to channel their creativity into a short film for the 2021 Spring Festival. They utilized the skills acquired in our remote classes, showcasing their hard work and innovation. I created a dedicated website where students could view and vote for their favorite videos, celebrating their achievements together. My experience as an educator has been incredibly, and I look forward to the opportunity to step back into the classroom and share my knowledge once more.
